Any renovation by Gwidon Homes & Renos Ltd., small or large, begins with a visit with you, the client, during which an initial assessment, consultation and project budget are established, and preliminary designs and/or blueprints are drafted. This is followed by a detailed written quote in which the timeline of the project is determined and allowances for items such as cabinetry, counters, and flooring are made. Provided the price is acceptable, a contract is created and application for permits is undertaken. Work usually begins within two weeks of contract-signing, at which point we start site preparation and necessary demolition.
During the actual building and renovating stage, we consult and work with you to ensure the progress being made is desirable and to make any modifications that may arise once work has begun. An inspection is made after each of the milestone stages of construction are achieved and, once every last tile is placed and nail driven, the home is professionally cleaned and delivered and the 2 Year Warranty period begins.
Use our Renovation Worksheet to help you get started on your next project. Feel free to review and fill out the fields provided for a preliminary overview of your next renovation project.
